Luis Feliciano is a Nuyorican director, actor, and teaching artist born and raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn. His directing practice is actor-centered and rooted in ensemble creation, physical play, and collaborative rehearsal structures. He is especially drawn to developing new work that engages questions of patriarchy, men’s health, climate justice, and social power through heightened theatrical form. Luis completed a year-long clown and commedia dell’arte pedagogical apprenticeship with Christopher Bayes, Head of Physical Acting at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, and is currently training with Andrea Haring toward designation as a Linklater Voice Teacher. His directing credits include we’re delinquents.pdf by Claire Tumey at Brick Aux, Estonian Wedding by Chris Gaczinksi at Chain Theatre, and Coyote Oughta Eat That Salesman! by Padraig Bond at UNDER St. Marks.
