Luis Feliciano is a Nuyorican actor, director, and teaching artist born and raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn. His work is rooted in ensemble creation, physical performance, and the development of bold new theatrical work. He completed a year-long Clown and Commedia dell’ Arte pedagogical apprenticeship with Christopher Bayes, Head of Physical Acting at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. He is currently training to become a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher with Andrea Haring, the Executive Director of the Linklater Center. Luis has trained and performed internationally in Italy, Scotland, and Australia. As an actor, he appeared in Celine Song’s Family at La MaMa, directed by OBIE-Award winner Alec Duffy. His directing and teaching practices center play, expressive freedom, and collaborative rehearsal processes.
